Design Time Control  Problem

I am facing problem using Design time control in my Database application with InterDev 6. InterDev is not installed on my Web server. It is installed on seaprete machine. Is it the problem? How can see that Design time controls are registered on Webserver. Remember I am a beginner in Web database Sevelopment. thanks.
